Daniel writes: "I struggled as a newcomer to choose one piece of Manchester or Salford so I decided to use elements of both to create one cityscape of buildings, pathways, bridges and canals, all iconic for me.I love the way that both cities have so much squeezed into a centre and wanted to convey this feeling. I wanted to show the ornate, the minimal, the brand new, the unused and even the so called ugly, all stitched together as one.

At the heart of the scene is Albert Bridge, which I walk across daily, skipping the Irwell linking Salford to Manchester."
